The Grand Prairie Parks and Recreation Department opened its doors on May 22, 2010 to the next amazing addition to the city, The Summit. This $23 million, 60,000 square foot facility is located in Central Park designed specifically for active adults ages 50 and older. With state-of-the art fitness areas, gym, indoor infinity edge pool with lap lanes & exercise vortex, theater, locker rooms with sauna and more, this will be the talk of Texas for years to come!
